Wellness Coaching is a confidential partnership, which empowers guests to reach their true potential in life.

The relationship works because the coach provides non-judgmental accountability, and a slight motivational push toward continued success.

Journeys Healing and Wellness Center provides both individual and group Wellness/Life Coaching. Individual coaching may be either in-person or telephonic. Sessions are 30 minutes or 50 minutes in duration and can be conducted in person at Journeys in a confidential setting or by phone.

Ellen Corey is a Wellness/Life Coach and Certified Wellness Practitioner with over thirty years of experience in the fields of counseling and wellness promotion.

  • M.A. in Counseling, Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma, WA,
  • B.A. in Psychology and English, Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY
  • Wellness Coaching Certificate
  • A.A.S. in Health and Wellness Promotion, College of Lake County, Grayslake, IL.
  • She is also a trained Consumer Wellness Advocate (CWA).

Girl Power Junior:  Building strength from the inside out

Small group for girls from ages 8 – 11

$10 per girl

This group builds strength from the inside out by addressing key issues such as: self–esteem, communication, bullying, setting boundaries, and making and keeping friends.

Meetings will be one hour in length to include:

Games

Arts and crafts activities associated with the topic

Girl Power – How to Stop Bullying!

Small group for girls ages 12 – 17

Learn skills that work

Learn to look and be strong inside and out
